Warum wir vorerst nicht mehr regelmäßig posten [D/E]

Liebe Leser,

nach insgesamt 222 Posts seit April 2017 lassen wir es in den nächsten Wochen und Monaten etwas ruhiger angehen. Während Studium und Job war es locker möglich nebenher zu bloggen. Jetzt befinden wir uns allerdings beide in zeitintensiven Ausbildungen, bei denen es schwierig ist, "mal eben" ein ganzes Buch zu lesen oder eine ganze Serie durchzuschauen (von Korrekturlesen, Social Media Posts und gegebenenfalls Übersetzungen mal abgesehen). Außerdem besteht der praktische Teil von Katrins Ausbildung aus dem Rezensieren von Filmen und Sendungen - da ist es schwierig, die Leidenschaft beizubehalten, wenn man ihr in Beruf und Freizeit nachgeht. Wir wollen den Blog nicht aufgeben, dafür haben wir zu viel Spaß daran und zu viele Hunderte Stunden Arbeit hineingesteckt. Wenn uns ein Buch, Film oder eine Serie besonders positiv oder negativ auffällt, werden wir euch natürlich weiterhin Bescheid geben - vor allem in Form von "Watch.Read.Discuss"-Beiträgen. Allerdings werden wir vorerst nicht mehr regelmäßig posten, um uns zeitlich und thematisch nicht mehr so sehr unter Druck zu setzen - immerhin betreiben wir den Blog nebenher.

Dear readers,

after 222 Posts in total since April 2017 we'll be taking it a little easier the next few weeks and months. During study and work it was totally possible to blog alongside. But now both of us are doing a time-consuming professional education, therefore it's quite hard to read an entire book or watch an entire series "just in between" (say nothing of proof-reading, Social Media posts and if applicable translations). In addition the practical part of Katrin's education consists of reviewing movies and TV shows - it's hard to maintain a passion if you're pursuing it during your work hours and your free time. We don't want to abandon the blog, because we have way too much fun with it and have invested way too many hundreds of hours of work into it. If a book, movie or TV show makes an exceptionally positive or negative impression on us we'll let you know of course - especially in the form of a "Watch.Read.Discuss" article. However we're not going to post regularly anymore, so we won't continue to put ourselves under pressure in terms of time and topics - after all we're running the blog alongside.
